Register
of LGV Instructors |
The
Driving Standards Agency of LGV Instructors was created
in 1997, to regulate and improve standards that had
remained unchanged since the HGV licence was introduced
in 1969.Currently registration is voluntary, although
compulsory registration is to become statute by 2007.This
has dramatically increased the standards required
within the transport industry and is now the bench
mark for new legislation and refresher training to
be implemented as of September 2008 / 2009 Driver
Training Centre Instructors have been registered from
the start, and are retested by the DSA every four
years, thereby maintaining and improving the very
high standards we set ourselves as the ‘Training
Providers’

Introduced in 2002, Centre accreditation was created
to further enhance the availability of professional
training services to the transport industry.Driver Training
Centre is the FIRST training establishment in the UK
to achieve this prestigious distinction.Again voluntary
at present, accreditation is to become a compulsory
requirement for LGV trainers in the very near future.
Driver Training Centre’s commitment to the future
allows you to demand standards of training not previously
available, NOW.
